Family Vacation. Florida Style. Marco Island. Summer Fashion

If there is one thing my family looks forward to each year it’s our annual summer vacay in Marco. If you’re a Florida resident and you’ve never been. What’s the matter with ya?! This is an amazing vacation spot for anyone Florida resident or not. Located on Florida’s Gulf coast this little seaside town is a must do! I have been coming here since I was a little girl. It’s nice to share these traditions with my sons. My family from DC joins us and that just makes for more memorable moments. We don’t see each other so often so the family time is great! So ever since I posted this swimsuit picture on Insta I have gotten so many questions as to where I got this one piece. Unfortunately, it is no longer available. Which is a real shame since it only cost $19 at Forever 21. But as you all know I would never leave you in the lurch so I found you a just as cute option that is inexpensive and just as fab!

Usually we stay at the The Charter Club of Marco Beach we love it there because of their amazing family atmosphere. They always have great activities for kids no matter what age. Although we have stayed in various resorts on the strip over the years this one is our favorite. The views are breathtaking and the apartments are nice and spacious. So down the street you’ll find Bealls Florida. It’s one of my go to shopping spots every time we visit. It’s an outlet store think something along the lines of Marshalls or TJ Maxx. I have found treasures here over the years and this Lily Pulitzer looking cover up was one of them! I was attracted to the print on the rack and I had to have it! Love the color combo and print. I have been a tad obsessed with this plam leaf print as of late. It’s great quality and homegirl paid $16!

The sunsets here are so beautiful its always a treat to wait for them every late afternoon. If you’re wondering about my very bright nail polish it is an oldie but a goodie!

Illamasqua Nail Polish in RadiumMarco Island is also a favorite for shelling. Most beaches on Florida’s Gulf Coast are. You can really find some good ones here! There was a storm that blew by a couple weeks before we arrived which is why the sand is basically made up of shells.

Till next year Marco! Hope you can visit soon. If you do, be nice and share your pics and tag me on social media.

xx. L
